The SSD1353 is a CMOS driver Integrated Circuit (IC) that supports both OLED and PLED panels. The display resolution of SSD1353 is 160RGB x 132 dot matrix panel, capable of rendering vivid color depth of up to 262K, supported by embedded 160x132x18 bit SRAM display buffer. In addition, the chip has an embedded Graphic Display Data RAM (GDDRAM). It comes equipped with 8, 9, 16 or 18 bits 8080/6800 parallel interfaces and Serial Peripheral Interfaces, providing flexibility to meet diverse design requirements.

The power supply for SSD1353 is VDD - 2.4V to 2.6V (Core VDD power supply), VDDIO – 1.6V to VCI (MCU interface logic level), VCI – 2.4V to 3.5V (Low voltage power supply), and VCC of 10.0V to 21.0V for panel driving power supply. The chip has a maximum segment source current of 160A and a maximum common sink current of 60mA. Additionally, it has a 256-step brightness current control for each color component and 16-step master current control.

Moreover, the SSD1353 offers pin-selectable MCU interfaces that include 8/9/16/18 bits 6800-series parallel interfaces, 8/9/16/18 bits 8080-series parallel interfaces, and Serial Peripheral Interfaces. The chip also includes a color swapping function from RGB to BGR.
